The August Break – Day # 13 – “home”

Home- to me – doesn’t only mean a place, but also a feeling.

Nevertheless, as I am happy being able to say I have found my  very flat (rented, not bought), my  home and castle, about 20 months ago, where everything is making me feel home, all the photos today are taken in my flat.

The photo of the coffee stands for making my friends feel home, too. I just love to have friends over, make coffee or tea, get the shortbread out and make them feel comfy.

As well as I so appreciate being at dear people’s place who are making sure that I feel home. Last but not least, you see my rabbit lady choosing my living room curtain as an appropriate place to do her extended siesta….

She has a good eye for colour matches, doesn't she?

A bowl of veggie soup ..as a way to make someone feel home. Works for me.

The door to the Loggia - when I first had a look at this flat I fell in love with the chocolatebrown of the wooden doors and window frames between kitchen and loggia!

This colour combination makes me feel cosy and home.

A coffee speciality called "detour speciality à la Nicole ^^". I accidently poured too much milk into my senseo coffee. So, as it is portioned tab by tab, I decided I had to add some coffee-ish Input and my eyes fell on the greek Nescafé in the kitchen shelve. So now I am making a Café au lait plus Nescafé and like it pretty much. :)

All that things that make “home” what it is for us — your photographs have captured that beautifully. And I love the rabbit lady’s cozy spot! 🙂

    • Thank you – I think we have quite a few things in common, eh? Mrs Rabbit is – right now- again “ironing” her curtain with her front feet, to then drop herself dramatically (almost smiling, it seems) for her lazy-time of the day :)))) I should film this ^^
